Official!!! Dutch legend FOCUS reforms and is confirmed as headliner of Rio ArtRock Festival 2002!!!
After bringing to Brazil for the first time legends like Camel, Le Orme, Banco, Balletto di Bronzo and many other big names from the prog scene, Rock Symphony is proud to announce that next on the list is Dutch legend Focus, exponent of seventies's prog rock and one of the most known artists outside our guetto(with many songs featured in TV shows as well as several LPs released in Brazil).
Breaking a silence of over a decade, the band returns at full strenght and is already working on a new album. Founder member Thijs van Leer (organ, flute, vocals) will be joined by experienced sessioners Jan Dumée (guitar, vocals), Bert Smaak (drums) and Bobby Jacobs (bass, vocals) in this line encarnation of Focus.
Besides the ALREADY CONFIRMED show in Rio at the first week of November (only one concert, venue and date TBC), the band may also perform in Belo Horizonte, Cataguases, Macaé, São Paulo and Porto Alegre.
Following this tour in Brasil, Focus marches on for some already confirmed gigs at Caracas, Venezuela (November 15th) and México City, México (November 17th).
