One of the best albums of the year comes out this month through Rock Symphony: "El vals de los duendes", second opus by Spanish combo Omni.
Once again with the help of Mylodon Records (Chile), Rock Symphony brings to the world public, first-hand, the second excellent opus by Spanish band Omni, "El vals de los duendes" (RSLN 071). Already known thanks to the last year's debut CD on Mexican label Luna Negra, Omni takes a step forward with the new tracks: progressive rock at its finest form, in the best tradition of bands like Gotic, Mezquita, Medina Azahara, Iman and, believe it or not, Camel. Guitar work is fantastic, with plenty of Andaluzian influences, with enough room also for flutes and great keyboards.
